June
With the Olympics approaching June was a very busy time for NSWIS athletes. There was plenty of action overseas. Megan Rivers top-scored (with five goals) at the Champions Trophy and the sailors and swimmers dominated across the globe.

July
June finished with Kurt Fearnley doing what he does best - winning marathons; and set up the NSWIS for another massive month of achievements. In July, the AOC announced the final Australian team for the Olympic Games and athletes started heading to Asia to begin their final preparations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Beijing Olympics 2008 - August
August was an exciting time for the NSWIS with NSWIS athletes bringing home 3 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Beijing Paralympics 2008 - September
Australia is set to dominate at the Paralympic Games in Beijing. Over 30 NSWIS athletes will be competing.

September
Aside from the Paralympics, events like the Australian Swimming Short Course Championships and the Junior Diving World Championships will keep NSWIS busy.

October
The swimming World Cup will be a highlight of the month, along with this NSWIS athletes will be battling it out Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India.

November
NSWIS will celebrate the successes of the past year at the 2008 Annual Awards Dinner at the AJC.

December
