Francis Hegerty – Rowing
As Client Manager of the Government Portfolio at Westpac, Francis Hegerty is a key point of contact for clients needs. To couple this and his sport of rowing, for which he won a silver medal in the men’s four at the 2009 world championships; Hegerty is studying a Masters of Commerce at the University of Sydney.
Nick Hudson – Rowing
Nick Hudson works for APP Corporation as an Urban Development Project Manager. Hudson has gained valuable management and sustainability experience, working on a major residential development as well as co-ordinating several onsite design and construction projects. At the 2009 FISA Rowing World Championships, Hudson joined three other teammates to form the Australian men’s quad scull that claimed a silver medal.
Scott Kneller – Winter Sports
Scott Kneller recently began his own online import business, Yeti Sport, which imports and distributes `Fabel’ and ‘Kari Traa’ winter sport apparel. He balances his business aspirations with studying a double degree in Commerce and Civil engineering. At the 2009 Australian / New Zealand Cup at Mt Hotham, Kneller showed why he is considered Australia’s best ski cross athlete and one of the danger men for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, dominating the Ski Cross winning gold on both days of the event.
Geoff Huegill – Swimming
Geoff Huegill has established a consultancy business – OPS Consulting – which provides a tailored consultancy approach to delivering an exclusive set of “Be-Your-Best” offerings. Huegill made his comeback to swimming in 2008 and within six months he made the 50m and 100m Butterfly finals at the Australian Swimming Championships. Huegill competed in the Mare Nostrum series, finishing with a bronze and two fifths in the 50m Butterfly during the series.
Heath Ryan and Rozzie Ryan – Equestrian
Heath and Rozzie Ryan own and run Ryan’s Equestrian. The business has two separate arms; the riding, coaching and training of horses and riders for the Olympic disciplines, as well as the breeding, training and selling of high quality performance horses for the Australian and international market. Heath Ryan claimed a silver medal in the dressage discipline at the 2009 Del Mar Grand Prix, as well as a dressage bronze medal at the Sydney Grand Prix and an eventing bronze medal at the Sydney Three Day Event.
