Paralympic Swim Team Selected

The Australian Paralympic Committee has announced the Paralympic Swimming Team, marking 50 days to go until the start of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

The 35-strong swim team is made up of 15 NSWIS athletes; Tim Antalfy, Michael Auprince, Taylor Corry, Maddison Elliot, Amanda Fowler, Jacqueline Freney, Mitchell Kilduff, Kara Leo, Matthew Levy, Andrew Pasterfield, Katrina Porter, Sean Russo, Reagan Wickens, Prue Watt and Annabelle Williams.

Paralympic gold medallist Matthew Levy heads the NSWIS contingent of the team with thirteen-year old Maddison Elliot heading to London as the youngest athlete on the Australian Paralympic Team.

The team will travel to the UK on the 10th of August for the Australian Paralympic Committee’s pre-Games staging camp in Cardiff prior to the Games commending on the 29th August, 2012.
