Through the provision of expertise, resources and both standard & tailored development opportunities, the NSWIS Coach Excellence Program assists our world class, developing international and potential international coaches to continuously work towards success by developing their knowledge, experience, competencies, personal style and technical capability.

The program supports a partnered approach to the selection, development & growth, performance management and succession of coaches, with NSWIS working cooperatively with national and state Sporting Organisations using a high performance coach competency framework.

High performance coach success profile
The high performance coach success profile allows the NSWIS to work with program partners to select, develop and manage coaches that ‘best fit’ both the NSWIS and their specific role.

While coaches at world class, international development and potential international levels may excel in some but not all areas of the success profile, the NSWIS Coach Excellence Program promotes continuous improvement working towards repeatable success by using the profile as a reference tool.
