The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) Canoe Slalom Program is supported as a world class program in partnership with Australian Canoeing (AC) and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).

The NSWIS Canoe Slalom Program is a unique partnership designed to achieve excellence and success at the international level. The partnership supports a world class, National Centre of Excellence Program (NCE) based at Penrith Whitewater Stadium.

The NCE program supports word class, international class, developing international, potential international and emerging talent athletes.

- A world class Facility – Penrith White Water Stadium is the only world class training facility for the sport of canoe slalom within the Southern Hemisphere

- A strong partnership – continued successful partnerships between the NSWIS, AC and AIS allowing athletes and service staff to capitalise on expertise and opportunity across organisations
