As of 1 January 2013 Triathlon will no longer be supported as a squad sport program but eligible athletes may be entitled to individual support through the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) Individual Scholarship program.
This enables a more targeted approach to supporting identified athletes and provision of support for targeted ‘campaigns’ while encouraging Triathlon Australia to establish an effective partnership with Triathlon NSW.
