The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) Wheelchair Track & Road Program is supported as a world class focus program in partnership with Athletics Australia (AA) and Wheelchair Sports NSW (WSNSW).
The program supports the needs of athletes competing at an international level with a major competitive focus on the Paralympic Games, world championships, and major road races such as the London and New York marathons.
Partners are currently reviewing and developing the program for 2013-16 in line the Australian Sports Commission’s 'The Winning Edge'. The NSWIS will continue to support athletes identified through AA’s national scholarship framework until the national strategy for wheelchair track & road in Australia is confirmed.
