What role has the NSWIS played in your success?

NSWIS has given me great support and has allowed me to work on and improve key factors, both on and off the bike, some of which I had never thought of – or that I thought was ‘good enough’

How do you find your Strength Within?

I really enjoy pushing myself to the limit and seeing what I’m capable of. I know how much I’ve sacrificed over the years to get to where I am, and the feeling of achieving goals & dreams is really special

What has been your proudest moment in your sport?

Being selected to represent Australia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, where I placed 8th

What is the worst thing about being an elite athlete?

At times it can be hard spending extended periods of time away from family and friends

What is the best thing about being an elite athlete?

Being a role model in the community and having kids aspiring to be like you. Also getting to meet other athletes at races all around the world and make some great friendships
