Paralympian Boccia athlete Jamieson Leeson made her Paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games, competing in the Mixed Pairs BC3 event.
Jamieson, who hails from Dunedoo in central NEW South Wales, played Boccia casually growing up but decided to pursue the sport professionally after she was scouted at school boccia competition in 2018.
In 2019, she become the youngest person to represent Australia in Boccia when she made her international debut at the BISFED Hong Kong World Boccia Open, placing 18th overall and thereby meeting the eligibility requirements for the Paralympic Games.
In June 2021 she was named on the Australian Team for the postponed Tokyo Paralympic Games where she competed alongside fellow NSWIS boccia athletes Daniel Michel and Spencer Cotie.
