Kurt Lovett is a hockey player with the NSW Institute of Sport.
The Australian Under 21 Burras team – of which Kurt was a player – competed in the Junior World Cup Semi Final against India in 2017.
After an exceptional season in the Hockey One League with NSW Pride, Kurt was named in the Kookaburras team for the first time in November 2019,

Huge role in developing me into a much better hockey player not only hockey-wise but also life skills
How do you find your Strength Within?
The fact that I come from a country town – living by myself, and lifestyle may be quite different. This motivates me to succeed

JWC playing semi final against India in front of 15,000 people
What is the worst thing about being an elite athlete?
In my chosen sport – lack of money

Being able to travel, meet people and do what you love every day
