What role has the NSWIS played in your success?

NSWIS has played a vital role in helping me improve my performance in the pool with access to the best staff and gym. NSWIS has also helped me juggle my studies around my swimming through the help of the Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement staff.

How do you find your Strength Within?

I’ve always enjoyed pushing myself to the max every session so finding my inner strength hasn’t been very hard.

What has been your proudest moment in your sport?

My proudest moment to date is making my first senior Australia team at 18 in 2017 after missing out on an Olympic spot by 0.03 of a second. The fact I was able to bounce back is why this is my proudest moment.

What is the worst thing about being an elite athlete?

For me personally it’s adhering to a strict diet plan as I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

What is the best thing about being an elite athlete?

The travel we get to do as elite athletes is easily one of the best things.
