3 exercises for greater shoulder health

Shoulder injuries are prevalent in overhead sports such as swimming, cricket, tennis and baseball.

Here are three exercises that can help you increase the strength around your shoulder joints to reduce the likelihood of injuries.

Use these exercises both prior to playing your chosen sport or as part of your strength training.

  • For a warmup, complete one set of each exercise before playing
  • For strength training, complete 2-3 sets of each exercise
