Our ‘glutes’ play an extremely important role, not only when exercising but in everyday life. Strong glutes ensure the pelvis is stable, which takes stress off your lower back.
This allows the load to be distributed evenly through the lower back and legs, with the added benefit of helping to reduce knee pain.
All four glute exercises have the same cues which you can follow to ensure you are completing the movements safely and targeting the correct muscles.
