5 tips to help avoid overtraining

The balance between sufficient training and recovery can be complex.

While you do need some stress (or ‘fatigue’) to promote a training adaptation, it is important this is managed effectively.

Here are five tips to help you get fitter, stronger and achieve your goals whilst minimising the risk of ‘overdoing it’.

  2. Record your completed sessions
  3. Invest in wearable technology
  4. Daily wellness check
  5. Embrace your rest days
