National championships conclude for NSWIS para archers

The weather really turned it on for the Archery Australia’s 2021 Para & VI National Championships and, along with the sunshine, athletes from the NSW Institute of Sport shone bright.
It has been two years since the event had last gone ahead due to COVID-19 restrictions. Since then, it’s clear the archers have been working very hard and this 2021 tournament was close and exciting.
NSWIS archers Jonathon Milne and Ameera Christina Lee took out the Open Compound events, whilst Marek Steiner and Imalia Oktrininda, also NSWIS, claimed victory in the Open Recurve.

2nd – Natalie Smith (SQAS)
Para Open Male Recurve

2nd – Chris Davis (SQAS)
3rd – Taymon Kenton-Smith (SQAS)
Para Open Female Recurve
1st – Imalia Oktrininda (NSW)
2nd – Wendy Shurety (SQAS)
Para W1 Female
