The Open age events will be held from 15-18 April at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, with Athletics Australia live streaming events via their Facebook and Youtube page.

Among the NSWIS athletes to already secure an automatic qualifier are Jessica Hull (1500m / 5000m), Bendere Oboya (400m), Eleanor Patterson (High Jump), Nicola McDermott (High Jump), Dani Stevens (Discus), Rohan Browning (100m), Oliver Hoare (1500m) and Sarah Carli (400m hurdles).
