The Canberra GIANTS defeated the Netball NSW Waratahs 46-45 in the team’s second Australian Netball League clash of the weekend at the Genea Netball Centre on Sunday, 19 February.

NSWIS and Waratahs Head Coach Briony Akle said she was happy with the team’s performance.

“Great effort by our team on both days of competition against our home town rivals the Canberra Giants- with one win and won loss I am happy with the effort the girls put in against very experienced opposition.  Congrats to NSWIS athletes Olivia Coleman, Tayla Fraser, Rudi Ellis  and Lili Gorman Brown on making their  ANL debut for the NSW Waratahs.”
