Former NSWIS athlete Caleb Ewan has taken out stage three of the 2020 Tour de France in impressive fashion, emerging triumphant from a bunch sprint to the line in Sisteron.

The Australian timed his move to perfection to breeze past Irishman Sam Bennett just metres from the finish, claiming his first stage victory in the 2020 Tour and moving up to fifth in the overall sprint standings.

Monday’s victory was Ewan’s fourth Tour de France stage victory and Lotto-Soudal’s number one sprinter will be eager to add to the tally over the remaining 18 stages.
