The Kookaburras and Hockeyroos will both be looking to turn in improved performances when they play their second game of this Olympic campaign later today.

The Hockeyroos were disappointed with their first-up 2-1 loss to Great Britain.

NSWIS’s Casey Sablowski, Emily Smith, Georgina Morgan, Grace Stewart and Mariah Williams will feature when they look to reverse that result against the USA tonight.

USA head into the contest in good form having upset the world number two ranked Argentina yesterday.

NSWIS stars Blake Govers, Matthew Dawson and Simon Orchard will all be in action when the Kookaburras take on Spain this evening.

Australia opened its account with a 2-1 win over New Zealand but conceded they may have been fortunate to escape with the full bag of points against a surging Black Sticks outfit.

Spain began its tournament with a 7-nil win over the lowly-ranked hosts Brazil.
