Paddle Australia’s Canoe Slalom team return to international competition for the fourth World Cup of the 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup series taking place in Vaires-sur-Marne, France from 3-5 September.

The Australian team heads to the World Cup following a memorable 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships campaign in Oklahoma City, where the team collected three gold and one silver medal across Kayak and Kayak Cross events.

New South Wales Institute of Sport scholarship holder Jessica Fox OAM (pictured below) was the standout performer in Oklahoma, claiming three gold medals including her fifth Women’s K1 World Championship title, while fellow NSWIS athlete Noemie Fox OAM secured her first individual World Championship medal with silver in the Women’s Kayak Cross.

The World Cup also marks the first time paddlers will return to the Paris 2024 Olympic venue – a place that holds golden memories for the Australian Canoe Slalom team.

The Fox sisters will headline the Australian team, lining up in the Women’s Kayak, Canoe and Kayak Cross events. Ada Mackie will join Jess and Noemie Fox in the Women’s Kayak Cross, continuing her senior international campaign following her World Championships debut in Oklahoma City.

Paris 2024 Olympian Tim Anderson (pictured below), Lucien Delfour (both NSWIS) and Ben Pope will contest the Men’s Kayak event. Rising star Merle Long (NSWIS) will return to contest the Men’s Kayak Cross following his impressive World Championships debut. Paris 2024 Olympian Tristan Carter, Kaylen Bassett (NSWIS) and Lachlan Bassett will compete in the Men’s Canoe for the green and gold.

The World Cup 4 program will begin with the Kayak events before moving into the Canoe competition and concluding with Kayak Cross on the final day.

The 2026 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup 4 will be livestreamed on the Paddle Worldwide YouTube channel. Find the schedule and results for the event here.
