The NSWIS Rowing Program works in partnership with Rowing Australia, Rowing NSW and NSW Performance Pathways Clubs to support Australia and NSW athlete to achieve world best rowing performances at all levels with the vision of Australia becoming the world’s number one rowing nation and Australia’s leading Olympic sport.
Through our partnership with Rowing Australia and Rowing NSW we’re proud to support the Hancock Prospecting Women’s National Training Centre in Penrith and High Performance Para rowing in NSW.
In addition, NSWIS work with Performance Pathway Clubs to deliver the NSW Pathways Program which identifies and develops rowers who have the potential to be selected for RA’s National Training Centres and achieve podium results at benchmark events. Collectively we provide nationally identified athletes in NSW with access to coaching, performance services, facilities, competition support and equipment.
The NSW Institute of Sport and Rowing NSW are looking to unearth New South Wales’ next Olympians to train alongside Australia’s best up-and-coming rowers. If you an athlete aged 15-19, keen for a challenge, considered to be above average height and reside in Sydney, register your interest to attend a future testing session or to be linked in with a club.
