Canoe – Slalom

The NSWIS Canoe Slalom Program is a Principal Partner of the National Centre of Excellence based in Penrith and aims to support Australian Canoeing athletes to reach benchmark performance targets and develop an enhanced athlete pathway program.

The program boasts a number of high profile athletes including Olympic silver medallist and five-time junior world champion Jessica Fox. Fox won her first Olympic medal in the women’s K1 event at the 2012 London Games and will be competing at her second Olympic Games in Rio after securing her spot in February 2016.
