In partnership with Surfing Australia and Surfing NSW, NSWIS strategically supports the coaches who work in the daily training environment (DTE) with both pre-elite and elite surfers.

Through strategic partnerships and investments with Surfing Australia and Surfing NSW, NSWIS aims to cultivate a thriving surfing community and produce world class surfers who can compete at the highest level.

NSWIS maintains its investment with Surf Australia and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) for the engagement of a scholarship coaching position within the AIS National Generation 2032 Coaching Program (Gen32), held by Jay Thompson.

NSWIS has also contributed funding towards sending talent Pathway Coach Pete Duncan to support NSW athletes such as Jarvis Earl who finished first in the World Junior Championships in California.
