The NSWIS duo of Alex Pullin and Adam Lambert has finished ninth in the team event at the 2017 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Australia was the only nation competing in the team event that had two finallists from the previous day’s individual final, however with the duo unable to maintain their form they narrowly missed out on a semi-final berth.

Despite being unable to match their individual efforts, Pullin said he and Lambert were happy with how the competition played out.

“We come away clean, happy and buzzing off that result yesterday and really looking forward to the last World Cup,” Pullin said to the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia.

Pullin and Lambert will now turn their attention to the final World Cup event of the season in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, which takes place from 25-26 March.
