Moguls skier Britt Cox has secured bronze at the opening World Cup event in Ruka, Finland.

The NSWIS athlete took third place at the first FIS Freestyle World Cup of the season with a podium run of 78.29. Fellow NSWIS athlete Jakara Anthony placed fifth with a 76.47.

In the men’s competition, Matt Graham was the highest placed Aussie in ninth.

The Australian moguls team now travel to Thaiwoo, China for the second World Cup competition next weekend.
