Cycling trio added to team

Three NSWIS athletes have been added to the Australian cycling team competing at the upcoming UCI Road World Championships in the USA.

Adding to Anna Leeza-Hull and Sam Jenner, who were selected for the U19 team in July, NSWIS athletes Rachel Neylan, Lauren Kitchen and Amanda Spratt have all been selected in the women’s component of the team.

Neylan makes her second consecutive appearance on the team and third overall after winning silver at the 2012 Road World Championships, while Kitchen and Spratt return to the team following representation in 2013, with Spratt set to start at her fifth world championship event.

The 2015 UCI Road World Championships take place in Richmond, USA from 20-27 September.
