Dodd named in elite squad

NSWIS Paralympic hopeful Hannah Dodd has received a boost to her chances of competing at the 2012 London Paralympic Games after being named in the Para-Equestional national elite squad.

Dodd was selected to the team following the Victorian grand prix last year, where she helped the Australian equestrian team qualify a spot in London with victories in each of her events.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Jan Pike is also on the cusp of selection after being named in the national ‘A’ squad.

Selection events for the Games continue through until May before the team is announced in July.
