Dynamic duo honoured at Australian Sailing Awards

NSW Institute of Sport sailors Will Cooley and Rebecca Hancock have won Youth Sailor of the Year at the 2019 Australian Sailing Awards.

The formidable Nacra 15 pairing chalked up a sweep of wins that include the 2019 Hempel Youth Sailing World Championship, Nacra 15 Australian Championship, the Nacra 15 Australian Youth Sailing Championship, Sail Melbourne and Sail Sydney regattas.

The Youth Sailor of the Year category was hotly contested with three Youth World Championship medalists amongst the finalists, a great sign for the future of sailing in Australia.
