What inspired you to start a career in sport?

Watching the Olympics in 2008 at school. I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of one day.

What sporting achievements are you most proud of?

Becoming 2016 Australian (open) champion in the 200m breaststroke.

What do you do in your training that you believe is the key to your success?

Day in and day out consistent effort.

Are there any athletes that inspire you?

Olympic medallists Christian Sprenger and Brenton Rickard.

What is one thing most people would not know about you?

I wasn’t able to finish my first attempt at a 100m freestyle at a school carnival when I was 9 years old.
