NSWIS paddlers Jess Fox and Lucien Delfour have both secured podium places in Pau, France at the final event of the 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup.

Fox claimed silver in the women’s K1 to round out the World Cup series, with the double ranking points on offer elevating the 21 year old to second overall in the World Cup standings.

Earlier in the event Fox claimed silver in the non-Olympic C1 class to secure overall World Cup honours in the C1.

Not to be outdone Delfour won bronze in the men’s K1 to move to second overall in the World Cup standings. The bronze was Delfour’s second consecutive World Cup bronze medal after last week’s event in Spain.

The pair will now focus on next month’s ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in London, which double as quota qualification for the 2016 Olympic Games.
