Paddler Jessica Fox has mainted her supremacy on the domestic whitewater following the 2014 Australian Open in Penrith.

Fox performed strongly over the weekend to pick up gold medals in the women’s K1 and C1 events, with fellow NSWIS athlete Rosalyn Lawrence and sister Noemie Fox settling for silver and bronze in the C1, and Lawrence taking bronze in the K1.

The men’s C1 gold medal was claimed by NSWIS athlete Ian Borrows, who triumphed by nearly four seconds from his nearest competitor. Ethan Hodson secured bronze in the C1 event, adding it to the gold he had already won in the men’s C2.
