Following the 2017 Under 18 Australian Championships in Hobart, Hockey Australia has identified a group of 27 boys and girls deserving of recognition as “Futures Athletes.”

Nine of these young players – six women and three men – are supported by the NSW Institute of Sport Hockey Program.

The 2017 recognised future athletes from NSWIS, which make up a third of those identified, are:

Men
Tom Brown (Coraki, NSW)
Sam Gray (Lithgow, NSW)
Ehren Hazell (Tamworth, NSW)

Women
Julia Bradley (Coogee, NSW)
Litiana Field (Double Bay, NSW)
Jaime Hemingway (Wingham, NSW)
Zoe Newman (Gymea Bay, NSW)
