Infographic | NSWIS at the Commonwealth Games

This is what it’s all about for us, supporting Aussie athletes to become world’s best. The Commonwealth Games start in just over a week’s time and a strong contingent of NSWIS athletes will represent their country.

Of the 90 NSWIS athletes selected across 18 sports, 44 will make their debut at a Commonwealth Games.

And it’s not just athletes donning the green & gold – twenty staff members from the NSW Institute of Sport will support the Commonwealth Games Australia team in various capacities.

53 athletes received support from the Campaign Gold Coast initiatives & scholarships, and 33 received Campaign Gold Coast Scholarships.
