The 2015 FINA Diving Grand Prix concluded on the Gold Coast over the weekend with three NSWIS athletes taking home medals from the event.

Esther Qin highlighted the results with three medals from three events, claiming gold in the women’s 3m sychro springboard and silver in both the mixed 3m synchro springboard and women’s 3m springboard.

Qin’s gold in the 3m synchro with Samantha Mills was especially significant given they defeated the highly rated Chinese pair, with the mixed 3m synchro medal coming alongside fellow NSWIS athlete Matthew Mitcham.

Mitcham also claimed bronze in the men’s 3m synchro springboard and men’s 10m synchro platform.

Rising star Nick Jeffree continued his strong form by winning gold in the mixed 10m synchro platform, while Melissa Wu finished sixth in the women’s 10m platform.
