The NSW Institute of Sport Men’s & Women’s Hockey Teams will line up against the ACT Academy of Sport in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the future of hockey in Australia.

This exciting game between ACTAS and NSWIS will trial the proposed new 9-a-side format of the National Hockey League. Four ten minute quarters of men’s hockey will be followed by two ten minute periods of mixed hockey finished with four quarters of women’s action.

The ACT will field players such as Glenn Turner, Aaron Kershaw, Jess Smith, Tina Taseska, James Day, and Catriona Bailey-Price in a spectacle that is sure to entertain.

Taking place at the National Hockey Centre in Lyneham just outside of Canberra, both men and women will take place in a combined, fast-paced version of hockey.

Watch some of the countries best men and women battle it out in an all new format by live streaming the match online.
