NSW Institute of Sport athletes Tyler Gunn and Steve Solomon have played a key role in earning Australia a 2019 Doha World Athletics Championships spot in the 4x400m relay.

Competing at the IAAF World Relay Championships in Yokohama, Japan, the Australian team finished seventh in the final, taking them one step closer to qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
