This week the NSW Institute of Sport Cycling Program held a three day development camp at Dunc Gray Velodrome.

30 participants – made up of NSWIS, Cycling NSW and invited athletes – took part in the camp which aimed to develop and provide opportunity for the next generation of NSW cyclists and encourage collaboration between the NSW cycling network.

Facilitating the camp were NSWIS cycling coaches Katie Slattery, Sean Eadie, and Mick Marshall, as well as NSW coaches Tom Dawson and Marian Renshaw.

Four NSWIS Scholarship Holders also took part in mentor coaches; Charles Hofman, Max Housden, John Trovas and Chloe Heffernan.

Over the course of the development camp, athletes completed four track sessions, a gym session and a Performance Team workshop which featured presentations from Psychologist Gerard Faure-Brac, Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement Advisor Anthony Quinn and Senior Dietitian Sally Walker.
