Eight NSW Institute of Sport athletes have been named on the Australian Men’s Water Polo team who will compete at the 2018 World Cup in Berlin.

Beginning on 11 September, the six-day tournament will see the ‘Aussie Sharks’ take on Japan, Hungary and Germany in the pool stages, where they’ll compete for a place in the final rounds.

NSWIS will be represented by a number of Olympians including Richie Campbell, Joe Kayes and Joel Dennerley, who will be competing at his first major international tournament since Rio 2016.
