One Year To Go until Gold Coast 2018

This week, April 4 marked one year to go until the 21^st Commonwealth Games begin in Gold Coast.

The chance to compete in a home games is rare for elite athletes, and NSWIS is determined to help our athletes to be at their absolute best in 12 months’ time.

We are delighted to officially announce the NSWIS Campaign Gold Coast.

This campaign will provide NSWIS funding, expertise and support to projects and individuals likely to contribute to Australia’s medal tally at the Games.

Athletes who are already NSWIS scholarship holders can receive support through a project submission based on the Campaign Gold Coast Initiative Criteria.

Campaign Gold Coast Scholarships will be offered to athletes competing in sports outside of existing NSWIS sport programs that are likely to be on the podium at the Games.
