Research project

This proposed PhD will address the theme of enhancing the health and performance of emerging female athletes through a series of studies in critical female-specific issues such as management of increased training load in the adolescent female athlete.

The PhD candidate will be embedded with the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) at Sydney Olympic Park (Sydney), including some regional travel across NSW, and contribute to athlete support services. The project will have strong practical benefits for adolescent female athletes and their coaches/support staff.
