NSWIS paddler Jessica Fox has triumphed again in Europe, this time at the Markkleeberg, Germany leg of the 2011 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup.

Fox posted an overall time of 130.20 seconds, including six penalty seconds, in the final of the women’s C1 to take victory. Despite incurring penalties, Fox was over five seconds clear of her nearest rival and seven seconds from fellow NSWIS athlete Rosalyn Lawrence, who finished with bronze.

This weeks gold medal complements the gold won last week in France, while Lawrence adds bronze to a silver from France and a gold medal from the first world cup in Slovenia.
