NSWIS rowers have hit form ahead of the 2011 FISA World Rowing Championships with two medals at the Lucerne leg of the 2011 FISA Rowing World Cup.

James Chapman and Toby Lister posted the best result of the Lucerne regatta, finishing with silver in the men’s coxed pair behind Italy. The crew posted a time of 7:20.02.

Dan Noonan was the third NSWIS medallist at the world cup, finishing with bronze in the men’s quad scull. The Australian crew finished less than a second behind silver medallists Great Britain after crossing the 1500m line in fifth place.
