2024 Para Archery National Championships

Three NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) athletes were crowned National Champions in their respective events at the 2024 Australia Para National Archery Championships at Sydney Olympic Park over the weekend.

In the Compound Women’s Open event, NSWIS athlete Ameera Lee won the gold medal while fellow NSWIS athlete and Paralympian Imalia Oktrininda won the gold medal in the Recurve Women’s Open event. Both athletes have their eyes set on Paris 2024.

In the Compound Men’s Open event, NSWIS athletes owned the podium with Jono Milne being crowned National Champion and fellow NSWIS athletes Garry Robinson finishing in second place while Pete Marchant finished in third place.

Also taking place over the weekend was the World Archery Oceania Grand Prix. In the Compound Men’s Open event, Peter Marchant finished in second place and Jono Milne finished in third place.
