Triathlete Lauren Parker honoured by Women’s Health

Lauren Parker has taken out “Comeback of the Year” at the ninth annual Women’s Health Women In Sport Awards.

The NSW Institute of Sport scholarship holder became world champion this year for the Para Triathlon Wheelchair event.

The award acknowledges the elite athlete’s comeback following a training accident in 2017 that saw her paralysed from the waist down.
