Winter sports women on the podium for International Women’s Day

Moguls skier Jakara Anthony and snowboarder Belle Brockhoff have added to their season medal tallies on Sunday, taking silver and bronze medals respectively.

Anthony continued her medal winning streak, producing another podium performance in the Dual Moguls World Cup event in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. It’s the second silver medal in the event for the NSW Institute of Sport athlete, who has also taken a silver and bronze in the individual moguls World Cup events.

Belle Brockhoff also added to her own medal tally, taking World Cup bronze in the Snowboard Cross final of the Sierra Nevada, Spain  overnight.

The pair fittingly secured the medals as International Women’s Day came to a close, superbly representing #TeamNSWIS on the world stage.
