Women’s world league team announced

Six NSWIS athletes have been selected on the Australian women’s water polo team to contest the 2013 FINA Women’s World League finals in China.

Olympic bronze medallists Holly Lincoln-Smith and Nicola Zagame headline the selections, with the duo being joined by fellow NSWIS athletes Keesja Gofers, Hannah Buckling, Jayde Appel and goalkeeper Lea Barta.

The team will train at a camp in Canberra before heading to Beijing, China for the tournament which begins on June 1st.
