Snowboarder Tess Coady has won gold in the slopestyle event at the Seiser Alm Legends FIS World Cup in Italy.

In a tightly contested World Cup the NSW Institute of Sport athlete qualified third for the finals, ultimately putting down a score of 73.48 to secure the win.

It’s a huge result for the 19-year-old, who successfully returned to the snow following a training injury at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics which saw her unable to compete.
