Both Matt Wilson and Brad Woodward claimed podium finishes on the first stop of the final cluster of the 2018 FINA World Cup Series in Beijing.

Mingara Aquatic’s Bradley Woodward continued his remarkable breakout season by visiting the podium, collecting Bronze medals in both the 100m and 200m Backstroke and in personal best times.

Not to be outdone, SOPAC’s Matt Wilson stormed the 200m Breaststroke final to touch in a personal best time of 2:03.26 and collect the bronze medal.

Fellow NSWIS Scholarship Holder William Yang performed well in his World Cup debut with a pair of 7th place finishes, in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke.

The NSW Institute of Sport athletes continue the cluster of World Series and will compete in Singapore and Tokyo.
