Wu wins Beijing bronze

NSWIS diver Melissa Wu highlighted Australia’s results at the FINA World Series after winning bronze at the first event of the series in Beijing.

Wu’s bronze came in the women’s 10m platform after totalling 342.10 points from her five dives, finishing behind two Chinese divers.

The World Series bronze comes nearly eight years after Wu won bronze as a 16 year old in the same venue at the 2008 Olympic Games.

The next FINA World Series event takes place in Dubai from 17-19 March.
