Southern Design’s ongoing support of the NSW Institute of Sport’s annual awards ceremony will see them sponsoring the Coach of the Year category at the 2019 NSWIS Awards.

The award recognises the outstanding achievement of an NSWIS coach or a coach working with NSWIS scholarship athletes based on continuous improvement and demonstrated engagement in learning and development as well as performance impact of coaching innovation and initiatives.

The Southern Design Coach of the Year will be presented at a gala celebration at the Royal Randwick Racecourse on 14th November, with the best sporting talent from across Australia in attendance. The NSWIS Awards recognise and honour the achievements of NSWIS athletes, coaches and sport programs across nine categories.

Managing Director at Southern Design Sam Safi has been involved with the NSWIS Awards since 2000 and he is delighted to continue that support.

“It’s with great pride that we continue to support the Awards event as a whole plus the Coach of the Year award category.

“It’s a fantastic event to be a part of and recognising these elite coaches for their hard work and dedication really aligns with what Southern Design is all about.”
